The library of the Evangelische Theologische Faculteit serves a dual purpose: it stimulates and supports the study and research of both students and professors and also provides an evangelical study center for Belgium and the Netherlands. Our theological library contains a quickly growing collection of over 100,000 materials, along with access to important digital databases such as EBSCO and ProQuest.
The ETF library is located on the first and second floors of the academic building. Works older than 1960 and periodicals older than 1995 are kept in closed stacks. These materials are available by placing a hold on the book through the library website.
The ETF library provides WiFi, scanning, printing and copying facilities, but primarily: a quiet place to study. Interested parties can gain access to the library by means of a visitor’s card, available at the library desk and library office.
The library is supervised by librarian Marjorie Webber, assistant librarian Alyona Tkachenko, and a number of library assistants. The library team also includes several dedicated volunteers.
